But he hasn't been as productive as some of the other guys on the line.
Maybe O-Line is the answer. Perhaps as a drive-blocking guard.jake.schallerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09439348723374256770noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3056953216725180581.post-25128210701543241602008-03-06T07:11:00.000-07:002008-03-06T07:11:00.000-07:00What happened to Ryan Gonzales? Rather, it will be a controlled scrimmage in which they will keep units (first-team offense, first-team defense, second-team offense, etc.) together.

-As for Cockran, I really didn't get a whole lot of looks at his foot speed or running ability. That is something I'll keep an eye on next time I'm out there. One thing I neglected to mention yesterday is Shea Smith - while not a burner - looked pretty poised running the ball. McAngus had some trouble with a couple of option pitches.jake.schallerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09439348723374256770noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3056953216725180581.post-84893619049203030672008-03-05T07:54:00.000-07:002008-03-05T07:54:00.000-07:00Thanks, Jake! I love hearing about the new names I expect to see making great contributions to Falcon football. Keep it up, dude!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3056953216725180581.post-52861419461534323702008-03-05T06:54:00.000-07:002008-03-05T06:54:00.000-07:00Jake,Thank you for your observations of spring foo...Jake,
Thank you for your observations of spring football at the Academy. In the past there have been few avenues for an out-of-state grad to gain information about the team's progress in the spring. Since this blog started in the fall, I have been a regular reader.

If Cochran has the best arm, did you see him running at all? If so, how did he look compared to the other quarterbacks? And, how does the size of the quarterbacks compare?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3056953216725180581.post-40278312645305002502008-03-05T00:54:00.000-07:002008-03-05T00:54:00.000-07:00Jake, Excellent coverage once again. I'm wondering, when is the Spring Scrimmage, and will it be at Wasson HS like it has been or will it be at Falcon Stadium?

Thanks!Benhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03659547953725718016noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3056953216725180581.post-25266979245480931992008-03-05T00:53:00.000-07:002008-03-05T00:53:00.000-07:00This comment has been removed by the author.Benhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03659547953725718016noreply@blogger.com
